Brenda Wilmoth Lerner, Managing Editor

Often working in areas at high risk to endemic  and emerging diseases– including work in  Egypt, India, Russia, China, and Cambodia — Brenda  Wilmoth Lerner, R.N. has physically circumnavigated the globe to research, write, edit, and confer with expert advisors in order to bring broad international perspective to her work. Her global experience and expertise is also reflected in her passion for the arts and for her explorations of the relationships between public health, history, and culture. She is a member of the International Society for Infectious Disease (ISID) and was a delegate to the 12th Annual ISID Congress in Lisbon (2006) and the 13th Annual ISID Congress in Kuala Lumpur (2008). Serving as lead editor, her book, Infectious Diseases: In Context, was named to the prestigious ALA Outstanding Academic Title list.

In addition to work on LernerMedia projects in production, Brenda Wilmoth Lerner currently serves as an advisor on health and science issues for a several award winning media sites, including Global Issues in Context.

K. Lee Lerner, Managing Director

Critically acclaimed for his use of language, scientific  accuracy, and balanced presentation, K. Lee Lerner is  an author, editor, and producer who has managed projects in more than two dozen countries. Lerner has written or edited more than 30 books on science and society, including the ALA RUSA award-winning Climate Change in Context. A lifetime member of Phi Kappa Phi academic honorary society, he has served as advisor for numerous books, including six editions of American Men & Women of Science. In addition to teaching and lecturing in physics and environmental geosciences, he is an experienced aviator and sailor, with leadership and technical skills that allow him to manage multi-lingual teams and logistics in challenging political and environmental conditions. With global experience ranging from underwater to mountainous locations, and from war-torn regions to areas experiencing infectious disease outbreaks and natural disasters, he has served as a commentator and contributor for numerous news and information services.

In addition to book and documentary work, K. Lee Lerner currently serves as an advisor and/or editor for several award winning media sites.
