The Backstories section, with both current content and archival components, remains a work in progress. The posts reflect personal observations and offer behind-the-scenes insights into working in some of the most significant and challenging environments on Earth. The course of posting archival materials collected from ancestral sites is an erratic path sometimes dependent on integrating old content and media formats with new technology.
