Welcome to the LernerMedia Journal ™
This journal is intended to offer behind-the-scenes insights into LernerMedia ™ people, places, and projects. The posts reflect personal observations and experiences gathered while working in some of the most significant and challenging environments on Earth.
With the help of our media colleagues in Paris, we launched this journal while working in Paris in December 2008. Earlier posts, essays, and commentary originally appeared in earlier media formats (books, magazines, early generation listserve and bulletin boards, early blog sites, online forums, etc.) and are republished here.
This journal remains an ongoing, and still highly personal project, which will ultimately integrate with our developing social media sites. Being a personal project for us, our attention to the development of this journal is sporadic and squeezed into nooks and crannies of hectic schedules. Accordingly, we ask our colleagues and friends to have patience with us if a favorite story, picture, or remembrance does not yet appear. The course of posting archival materials is an erratic path sometimes dependent on integrating old content and media formats with new technology.
Project management (official posts about project development, schedules, meetings, etc.) remains a function of the LernerMedia website and LernerMedia Forums.
If this is your first visit, please use the Lernermedia Blog tab at the top of the page to enter the commentary site. Posts are currently listed chronologically and are also categorized by places (e.g., France, Italy, etc) or classifications. Our evolving use and policy regarding comments is discussed on our policies and guidelines page.
Cheers,
Lee & Brenda
